Case Study - CD Rom Delivery

The Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) Product was designed for the Naval Submarine School to eliminate the need for actual tactical equipment labs in the training of Combat Control System (CCS) maintenance technicians. This project encompassed the development of 40 IMI Modules emulating hardware and software functions of 12 equipment cabinets and software programs for equipment operation, diagnostics, preventive maintenance (PMS), troubleshooting, repair and Practical Examinations.

Trainees select an equipment cabinet, which dynamically loads a Flash media file. This allows inexpensive development of new emulated hardware cabinets.

Virtual tools enable quality training, including test equipment, stopwatch, flashlight and required hand tools.
